Ancai High-Tech deputy GM Wang Lu said at a Sept. 15 half‑year results meeting
that domestic new PV installations in 1H 2026 were 72.07GW, down 66.04% YoY,
leaving overall demand weak. He said industry-led production cuts and inventory
destocking, together with joint guidance issued in early Sept. to promote a
healthier PV supply chain and orderly exit of inefficient capacity, are
gradually restoring market balance; the company expects PV glass supply-demand
to improve in 3Q–4Q 2026 and prices to stabilize at the bottom and rebound.
