On Sept 15 local time the Verkhovna Rada voted to dismiss Prosecutor General
Kravchenko, with 317 MPs in favour. President Zelenskiy on Sept 14 signed a
decree removing Kravchenko and submitted a dismissal bill to parliament. The
National Anti‑Corruption Bureau (NABU) has opened an investigation and
Kravchenko is named in case materials; he denies involvement in illegal
money‑laundering, says he has no undeclared assets and calls NABU’s allegations
without factual basis.
