NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said at a Salesforce event Tuesday the AI industry "does
not need any new laws or regulatory measures", calling the trade-off between
safety and speed a "false choice." He said firms can set their own pace and that
market forces and corporate restraint are sufficient to prevent deployment of
harmful technologies. Huang also joined a live call this week with U.S.
President Trump in which both rejected proposals to slow AI development.
