China A-shares were mixed at midday: Shanghai Composite -0.1%, Shenzhen Composite +0.04%, ChiNext -0.18%. Wind-power equipment stocks led gains, with Tianshun Wind Energy and Dajin Heavy Industry hitting limit-up; PCB names were active, Huazheng New Materials limit-up. MLCC, semiconductors, coal and minor metals also outperformed; grain, tourism, hotels & catering and property underperformed. Market breadth was negative with nearly 4,000 stocks down and half-day turnover above 1 trillion yuan.

Refinitiv sources said UniCredit wants Deutsche Bank CEO Bettina Orlopp and supervisory board chair Jens Weidmann to resign, and opposes Germany keeping two seats on the bank's supervisory board.
