Hong Kong chief executive John Lee announced the Hong Kong SAR's first five-year
economic and social development plan (2026–2030) today (16th), pledging to
promote low-altitude cross-border logistics in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao
Greater Bay Area. The plan says Hong Kong will leverage the GBA's industrial
base and geography, pilot cooperation with adjacent mainland GBA cities, link
resources across Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, expand application scenarios
and accelerate formation of an integrated, scaled low-altitude cross-border
logistics network across the GBA.
