Leverage stabilization has not produced sustained net inflows; ETF demand is driven by structural rotation. Overall funding conditions are improving mostly via reduced selling pressure rather than broad new inflows, while demand-side funding stress has risen and share unlocks in early October could add pressure.

Japan's Ministry of Finance said preliminary August crude oil imports rose 3.6% YoY; thermal coal imports fell 13.6% YoY to 9.092 mln tonnes; LNG imports fell 6.8% YoY to 4.99 mln tonnes.
