The satellite Xinglian–Tianyi Space-developed "Xinglian Tianyuan YG01" has
entered its planned orbit, marking the launch of Wuxi's Tianyuan constellation.
Tianyuan is a hybrid high- and low-Earth orbit sensing-and-compute constellation
built on an open 1+216+N architecture—one high-orbit satellite, 216 low-orbit
satellites and additional on-demand satellites. Xinglian says satellite
development will fully start in 2026, mass deployment and commercial rollout are
planned for 2027, phase-one network completion is targeted for 2028, with
replenishment/upgrades beginning in 2029 and progression to a Thousand-Star Plan
thereafter.
