Federal Reserve Chair KEVIN WARSH held a roughly 30-minute post-meeting press conference Wednesday, the shortest since routine chair briefings began in 2011. He stuck to a pledge not to pre-announce Fed moves, confining comments to this week's meeting and officials' current economic views. The Fed reordered press-room seating alphabetically by outlet, moving AFP to the front and shifting Wall Street Journal and Refinitiv reporters rearward. A special working group Warsh created is reviewing the Fed's communications, including press conferences, leaving open the possibility the briefing format could be changed or discontinued.
