Singapore is accelerating its push to become a major gold hub. DBS Group said on Wednesday it has expanded vault space this year to meet rising demand from private-wealth and institutional clients. Sources said OCBC has approached bullion storage providers to secure additional capacity and Deutsche Bank is also weighing similar vault expansions; scale and timing remain under discussion and may change.
