At the morning open, China’s most-active futures were mostly lower: Shanghai
crude (SC) fell nearly 6%; LPG and coking coal dropped over 3%; fuel oil and PVC
declined about 3%; benzene, p-xylene and styrene (EB) slipped more than 2%.
Gainers included container shipping (Europe route) up over 3%, Shanghai silver
up over 2%, Shanghai lead and international copper near +2%, and Shanghai zinc,
lithium carbonate, Shanghai tin and Shanghai copper up more than 1%.
