Daishin Securities analyst Kangho Park cut LG Display’s operating profit forecasts by about 25% for 2026 and 11% for 2027, citing a roughly 13% appreciation of the won versus the dollar since end-June and higher semiconductor and other input costs that are raising IT equipment prices and suppressing demand. Park expects margins to gradually recover if OLED panel shipments rise. Daishin trimmed its target price to KRW 12,000 from KRW 17,000 and maintained a buy rating; the stock fell 0.8% to KRW 8,400.

India's largest state-owned infrastructure finance institution has approved loans of more than 30 billion rupees (about $313m) apiece to at least four data centers to support AI infrastructure. Managing director Rajkiran Rai G. said the facilities carry a five-year moratorium followed by repayment over the next 10 years. Lender demand underscores rising corporate capex on large data-center projects; global investors from EQT AB and Blackstone to Alphabet, and domestic groups including Adani Group, have pledged billions to build AI compute capacity in India.
