At its Sept. 18, 2026 interim results briefing, Luwei Photonics said customer validation for 40nm full-set photomasks is progressing orderly. 40nm and 28nm single-mask photomasks have passed customer qualification and deliveries are underway. 28nm–14nm full-set mask capability is being built under the company’s LuXin Phase II project, currently under construction on schedule, aimed at reducing reliance on overseas suppliers for high-end process nodes.
