Capital Economics warns that if the Middle East conflict continues and supply is not restored by end-2026, oil could trade above $100 per barrel for much of next year. Senior economist Hamad Hussain said Houthi advances in Yemen and stalled diplomacy increase the risk of a more severe, protracted conflict than previously assumed.
