Sources say the US and Denmark are nearing an agreement to strengthen the US military presence in Greenland while preserving Danish sovereignty.

Under guidance from the State Administration for Market Regulation, market regulation bureaus in Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangdong, Chongqing and Sichuan, the National Individual Business Development Network and eight platform firms including 1688, Douyin Life Services, Kuaishou, Meituan, Taobao Flash Sale, Taotian, Xiaohongshu and Alipay signed a Cooperation Framework on Sept. 17 to support development of individual businesses. The agreement creates a communication and implementation mechanism to deliver start-up assistance, targeted cultivation, capability upgrades, digital enablement and innovation pilots for sole proprietors, aligning with central directives to promote platform–merchant shared growth.
