Third-party travel platform Hangban Guanjia expects scheduled passenger flights during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holiday (Sept 25–Oct 7, 2026) to total about 219,000, averaging over 16,800 flights per day, up 2% YoY. Based on Hangban Guanjia booking data as of Sept 17, the average domestic economy-class booking fare for the National Day period is about 973.7 yuan, up 9% YoY. Price dispersion remains: the civil aviation authority’s official direct-sales platform shows select short-haul routes still offering tickets near 300 yuan, while overall outbound (cross-border) travel demand is rising across both long‑haul and short‑haul destinations during the extended holiday.

Jan-Aug 2026: China registered 42,582 newly established foreign-invested enterprises, up 0.3% YoY, while actual use of FDI fell 5.3% YoY to RMB 479.95 bln. By sector, services accounted for RMB 350.42 bln and manufacturing RMB 119.55 bln. High-tech industries attracted RMB 200.26 bln, up 35.1% YoY, representing 41.7% of total FDI (up 12.4ppt). Within high-tech, FDI into R&D and design services, technology commercialization services and electronic & communication equipment manufacturing rose 74.0%, 64.2% and 41.9% respectively. By source, investment from France, Switzerland and South Korea increased 39.2%, 16.7% and 16.5% (including free-port channel data).
