The State Administration for Market Regulation said it will tighten food safety
risk controls in key areas and refine supervision across food, pharmaceuticals,
industrial products and special equipment. It will establish a full-chain
food-safety regulatory mechanism, strengthen risk prevention in priority food
sectors, and roll out Internet+AI supervision to improve sampling and testing
quality and enable earlier detection and remediation of hazards. The agency will
raise drug-safety safeguards, improve pharmaceutical safety accountability and
support industry innovation. For industrial products it will strengthen source
controls, expand quality-risk monitoring and spot checks, and align online and
offline oversight. It will implement full-lifecycle supervision for special
equipment to raise inherent safety and keep overall safety conditions stable and
controllable.
