Tangshan Maritime Safety Administration posted on the China Maritime Safety Administration website that it has issued a navigation warning closing parts of the Bohai Sea to traffic for live‑fire shooting from 00:00 on Sept 21 to 24:00 on Sept 24; entry is prohibited.

On the evening of Sept. 20, Zhipu said its MaaS platform will soon roll out a no-content-retention feature to strengthen data privacy for enterprise and developer users. The company said the feature is not an unconditional blanket non-retention: functions that require server-side persistence, such as BatchAPI and FileAPI, are excluded, and the platform may retain related data for 30 days or longer where required by law or to investigate suspected violations or misuse.

On Sept. 20 at the 2026 World Manufacturing Conference, ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) said its fifth-generation process platform has entered volume production. CXMT reported a memory-array active-area half-pitch of 11.95 nm, storage-capacitor depth-to-width ratio of 45:1 and core active-region height reduced to 6,762 nm; storage density and per-wafer output are more than 50% higher versus the prior generation. A 24GB LPDDR5X product based on the platform is in volume production and is being adopted in domestic flagship smartphones.
