TSMC on Monday broke ground on an advanced packaging industrial park in
Kaohsiung, Taiwan and will construct two buildings, including a technology
verification laboratory and a talent training center. The facilities are slated
to begin operations in Q4 2029. The Baipu park covers about 88.7 hectares, of
which roughly 53.6 hectares are designated industrial land.
