South Korea's industry minister said the government will brief the National Assembly on a U.S. investment project it has decided to advance.

At a Sept. 21 Foreign Ministry briefing, spokesman Guo Jiakun said Russia’s State Duma elections held Sept. 18–20 were successfully conducted and preliminary counts show United Russia leading. China congratulated Russia, affirmed support for the Russian people’s sovereign choice, and said it will continue implementing leaders’ consensus to advance the China‑Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
