A-shares opened broadly higher; the ChiNext index peaked above 2% intraday then pulled back to close up 0.93%. Shanghai Composite gained 0.22%, Shenzhen Composite rose 0.62%. Combined turnover across the two markets exceeded 1.4 trillion yuan and more than 2,800 stocks advanced. AI application and cultural media sectors opened strong and led gains; innovative drug names rebounded after early weakness. Component, PCB and other compute-hardware stocks were active. Port and shipping underperformed; oil & gas and defense sectors registered the largest declines.

China A-share dairy sector climbed in choppy trade; Yiming Food hit the daily limit-up, while Junyao Health, Ketuo Biotech, Tianshan Bio and Pinwo Food also advanced.
