UBS CEO Sergio Ermotti told a Bank of America financials conference that wealth management momentum is strong and trading activity is healthy. He said UBS expects Q3 results to show year-on-year improvement, but growth is likely to be slower than in the same period in 2025 and, due to seasonality, unlikely to match last year’s level. Sept. 21, 2026 — China and South Korea held the fourth meeting of their maritime affairs dialogue and cooperation mechanism in Tianjin, with relevant maritime agencies attending. Delegations held a plenary and working-group sessions on maritime order and practical cooperation. Both sides agreed maritime issues are a key part of bilateral ties and pledged to use the dialogue mechanism to manage differences, advance maritime boundary delimitation talks, and deepen practical cooperation in defence, law enforcement, fisheries, scientific research, environmental protection, shipping, search-and-rescue, and ocean and polar affairs. They also agreed to strengthen coordination in multilateral maritime forums to uphold an international-law–based, fair maritime order and, in principle, to hold the fifth meeting in South Korea next year.
