Shanghai Customs said on Sept 22 that in the first eight months the Yangtze River Delta exported surgical, bionic, cleaning and industrial robots worth 16 bln yuan, up threefold YoY. Electromechanical exports from the region totaled 5.35 tln yuan, accounted for 64.2% of regional exports and rose 26.6% YoY. By segment: integrated circuits 730.4 bln yuan, +100% YoY; ships 181.4 bln yuan, +30.8%; automobiles 434.5 bln yuan, +66.8%; high-end equipment 492.6 bln yuan, +22%.
