Wuhan municipal committee met on the 22nd to advance high‑quality integrated
circuit industry development. The city pledged to cultivate IC clusters and
fully support Yangtze Memory Technologies and other leading firms to raise
capital and expand capacity, while nurturing specialized, refined and innovative
SMEs and promoting integrated innovation across large, medium and small firms.
Wuhan said it will intensify investment attraction under the Wutongshu Plan,
targeting core IC development directions to recruit upstream and downstream
suppliers. The city will strengthen innovation resources and back universities
and tech firms to tackle frontier technologies, leveraging the National Advanced
Storage Industry Innovation Center, Jiufengshan Laboratory and Jiangcheng
Laboratory to accelerate local commercialization and industrialization of
research outcomes.
