The State Council Information Office said China expects national marine GDP to exceed 13 trillion yuan by 2030 as authorities boost marine development, utilization and protection to drive higher-quality growth. Targets include marine biopharma value added surpassing 130 billion yuan by 2030, about 30% above 2025, and offshore wind capacity doubling to 100 GW. Northern, eastern and southern marine economic zones are expected to further enhance their regional spillover and opening-up capabilities.
