The PBOC Monetary Policy Committee met on Sept. 19 (Q3 2026, 114th meeting) and
prioritized coordinating aggregate supply and demand. It called for stepped-up
measures to expand domestic demand, optimize supply and accelerate the
transition from old to new growth drivers to boost domestic-driven momentum,
strengthen domestic circulation and the domestic–international dual circulation,
and support sustained higher-quality economic growth.
