China Molybdenum said Xiamen Tungsten has initiated arbitration over Yulu Mining's tungsten production. The company said a 2001 joint‑venture agreement with Xiamen Tungsten did not specify a total tungsten mining quota or allocation mechanism, and it has no obligation to include Yulu Mining's required mining quota in its management targets. It added that regulators have recently tightened compliance on tungsten mining quotas, and that Yulu Mining has for a long period used China Molybdenum's quota to produce and sell tungsten without legal basis. China Molybdenum said it sought to renegotiate the cooperation this year — citing inability to perform provisions such as tailings supply — but Xiamen Tungsten refused.

Shengu Group shares reached the daily limit-down; turnover exceeded CNY 1.4 billion.
