On the 24th, President PEZESHKIAN reiterated Iran "completely does not" want nuclear weapons and said Tehran is willing, within the framework of international law, to reduce uranium enrichment levels and accept inspections. He said Iran has not chosen war, does not seek war, and has been forced into it. Regarding a previously signed Iran‑US memorandum of understanding, he said "the agreement has been signed" and Iran remains willing to advance talks on that basis.
