Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations said on 25th that defense chiefs and chiefs of staff from member states of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement met in Riyadh. Delegates discussed Saudi Arabia’s security threats, strongly condemned recent attacks on Mecca and on Saudi civil and economic infrastructure, and agreed to deepen military cooperation—including enhanced intelligence sharing, military coordination and capability integration—to strengthen deterrence and collective defense. The statement said the meeting underscored the strength of the three-way defense partnership and a shared intent to promptly convert pact commitments into concrete military cooperation; participants reaffirmed their commitment to collective defense and to protecting Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
