Multiple Iranian media reported the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, using intelligence control and electronic-warfare support, lured and captured an advanced U.S. autonomous underwater vehicle, the Remus 600, while it was conducting espionage in the Strait of Hormuz. On Sept. 27 Iran's foreign minister said Tehran will not yield to the United States on its stipulated conditions.
