SK Hynix shares fell as much as 5% in Asian trade on Monday — their largest intraday drop in two weeks — after US media, citing people familiar with the matter, reported its US unit Solidigm is weighing a US IPO as early as next year with a potential valuation up to $100 bln. Largest shareholder SK Square slid more than 8% and SK Inc., which holds a controlling stake in SK Square, fell over 6%. The Korea Corporate Governance Forum said a Solidigm listing would deepen SK Group’s multi-tiered pyramid shareholdings and said it had urged SK Hynix in August to abandon the plan.

At its Sept. 28 H1 2026 results briefing, Xianglong Electric said it is carrying out on-site photovoltaic-plus-storage retrofits to cut electricity use at its water plants in line with China’s dual-carbon goals, but currently has no plans to invest externally in commercial distributed PV or energy-storage projects; its core businesses remain water supply and construction.
