Suzhou statistics bureau: Jan-Aug output of industrial firms above designated size totaled RMB 3,351.8 bln, up 7.1% YoY; industrial value added rose 9.2% YoY. Electronics and information output exceeded RMB 1,001.0 bln, up 9.9%, contributing 40.9% of total output growth. Equipment manufacturing output RMB 1,133.2 bln, up 8.7%. High‑tech manufacturing output grew 11.5%, accounting for 60.0% of total output growth. Output of national‑level specialized and sophisticated “little giant” firms above designated size rose 11.8%, 4.7pp faster than overall industrial output.
