Tongcheng Travel's 2026 Mid-Autumn holiday report shows Shanghai's interprovincial bookings rose 29% versus this year's Dragon Boat holiday. Top five source regions for cross‑province trips were Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Beijing, Guangdong and Anhui. Shanghai ranked among the top 10 Mid‑Autumn destinations. Nationally, hotel bookings for urban micro‑vacations by consumers born in the 1990s and 2000s rose 24% YoY; the share of stays of two nights or longer increased by 6 percentage points. Shanghai bookings concentrated around major attractions, commercial districts and cultural/museum venues.

NIO-SW (09866.HK) said a Geely Holding Group subsidiary signed a formal agreement to subscribe for newly issued equity in NIO Energy by contributing its 100% stake in EasyConnect Technology plus RMB 640 mln cash, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. On closing the Geely unit will hold 30.0% of NIO Energy, NIO subsidiary NIO Holding Limited will retain 63.6% and existing investor Wuhan Guangchuang Xinxing Technology Phase I Venture Capital Fund (LP) will hold 6.4%. The transaction values NIO Energy at about RMB 16.0 bln post‑money.
