MIIT and six other ministries issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for New Battery Industry Development, directing process optimization, material upgrades and structural innovation to raise energy density, power density and cycle life. The plan calls for development of high-safety lithium batteries for consumer electronics; upgrades to new-energy-vehicle and electric-ship power batteries to improve safety, fast-charging, low-temperature performance, light-weighting and energy density; and development of high-safety, large-capacity, networked/grid-integrated storage batteries with ultra-long cycle life.

Lanqi Technology said its DDR5 fifth sub‑generation register clock driver chip, RCD05, has entered mass production. The RCD05 is aimed at high‑performance DDR5 RDIMM modules for data centers and AI servers to meet rising demand for higher bandwidth and greater memory reliability.
