SK Hynix shares fell as much as 5% in Asian trade on Monday — their largest intraday drop in two weeks — after US media, citing people familiar with the matter, reported its US unit Solidigm is weighing a US IPO as early as next year with a potential valuation up to $100 bln. Largest shareholder SK Square slid more than 8% and SK Inc., which holds a controlling stake in SK Square, fell over 6%. The Korea Corporate Governance Forum said a Solidigm listing would deepen SK Group’s multi-tiered pyramid shareholdings and said it had urged SK Hynix in August to abandon the plan.
