As of the 23:00 close, domestic futures main contracts were mixed. Methanol rose nearly 4%; benzene gained over 2% and styrene (EB) about 2%. On the downside, No.20 rubber futures fell more than 3%; rapeseed meal and broader rubber contracts declined over 2%.

After the meeting, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kallas said member states have not made any new decision to supply Patriot missiles to Ukraine. One option under discussion is temporarily lending missiles from member states' and EU partners' inventories with later replacement; she said replacement costs could be covered by the EU's €90bn aid loan to Ukraine. Kallas added the EU has so far approved procurement plans worth €28.3bn under that loan, which include Patriot missiles to be produced in the US.
