Sept 29, Beijing — The Ministry of Emergency Management and the Chinese Academy
of Engineering signed a strategic cooperation agreement to: strengthen strategic
decision‑support; jointly advance major science and technology R&D; build
national-level emergency management science and technology capacity; drive
high-standard construction and operation of the National Technology Innovation
Center for Mine Safety; support raising the academic level of the Emergency
Management University; coordinate commercialization of technology and
development of the emergency-equipment industry; and expand high-level talent
cultivation to modernize China’s emergency management system and capabilities.
