Samsung Electronics' wafer foundry unit expects its customer count to reach roughly four times the 2017 level by 2029, Yonhap reports. A foundry executive said current customers are about three times 2017 levels and are forecast to rise to roughly four times by 2029. The unit plans to shift its portfolio from mobile toward AI and high-performance computing (HPC); HPC’s share of business has risen from 5% in 2017 to 28% now and is projected to reach 66% by 2029. The executive said HPC customers will account for more than half of total customers and HPC will make up over half of revenue by 2029.

The FAA administrator said software issues will delay certification of Boeing (BA.N)’s 737 MAX 10, and the length of the delay is currently uncertain.
