The World Internet Conference International Organization held a press briefing
in Beijing on Sept. 29 to outline the 2026 Wuzhen Summit, scheduled for Nov. 2-5
in Wuzhen, Zhejiang. The summit theme is "Open source, openness, co-construction
and sharing — jointly building a community with a shared future in cyberspace."
Events include an opening ceremony, a main forum, 27 subforums and a World
Internet Conference council meeting. Market-relevant agenda items include global
internet governance and cyberspace cooperation; international cooperation on
trust, connectivity and interoperability for intelligent agents; robotics and
embodied intelligence; spatiotemporal intelligence; and use of
digital/intelligent technologies to promote green, low-carbon development.
