Reuters reports Anthropic disclosed in a confidential IPO filing that it has signed an agreement with SpaceX to pay up to $84.5 bln by 2029 for SpaceX’s NVIDIA-based AI compute resources. Most of the agreement can be terminated with 90 days’ notice. The disclosed cap is substantially higher than amounts in SpaceX’s earlier IPO filing: in May SpaceX said Anthropic agreed to pay $1.25 bln per month under a contract of up to about three years, totaling roughly $45 bln, and containing a 90-day cancellation clause.
