The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) has issued a notice launching a
nationwide, two-month special campaign to clean up fake personas on short-video
platforms. The campaign will target impersonation of vulnerable groups, use of
AI and other technologies to impersonate individuals, and fabricated
conflict-driven storylines.
