India’s IPO market is tracking a third consecutive strong year as a wave of listings pushed July–September proceeds above $9 bln, a quarterly record, and lifted year-to-date IPO proceeds past $13 bln, with several large deals among the highlights, institutional data show. Morgan Stanley’s head of global capital markets for India and Southeast Asia, Samarth Jagnani, said market volatility could shift the timing of individual transactions but the fundamental drivers of activity remain intact.
