Data‑centre operator Firmus Grid is targeting an IPO that would raise A$5.0bn at
A$11 per share and value the company at A$43.7bn (~US$30.3bn), the Australian
Financial Review reports. Underwriters say they have received indications
sufficient to cover A$5.0bn at A$11 and the deal may be upsized by a further
A$500m. The ASX listing is set for Oct. 23; the institutional bookbuild opens
Tuesday and closes Friday. The float would be among Australia’s largest IPOs,
comparable to Medibank’s 2014 raise, and comes as YTD primary-market fundraising
in Australia is roughly A$1bn versus >A$2bn in each of the past two years.
