El Al said on Oct. 2 the UAE abruptly revoked landing permission, forcing
cancellation of a scheduled flight to Dubai to repatriate stranded Israeli
passengers. Flights planned for next week remain on the schedule but are sold
out. Israeli and UAE senior officials held extended talks but failed to reach a
final agreement for El Al to land. Flydubai suspended all services to and from
Israel after an attack on flight FZ1073, leaving many Israeli travelers stranded
in Dubai.
