Vietnam GDP rose 9.95% YoY in Q3, the fastest pace since Q3 2022 and above a
8.65% median forecast and the revised Q2 8.81%, the General Statistics Office
said. Growth was driven by higher foreign investment, stronger factory output
and large-scale infrastructure spending. Trade surged in September: exports
+39.1% YoY (expected 26.6%), imports +45.8% YoY (expected 38.1%), producing a
$1.27 bln surplus after eight months of deficit. Committed FDI through September
rose 76.4% YoY to $50.4 bln; realized FDI inflows were up 12.1% YoY. September
CPI was up 5.08% YoY, marginally below a 5.10% forecast.
