Argentina's Economy Minister Luis Caputo said on the 2nd the country will launch
South America's first investment-for-citizenship program and open applications
in Q4. Under the scheme applicants must make a non-refundable direct investment
of at least $350,000 in Argentina or purchase $800,000 of public bonds.
Applicants will be screened for source of funds, personal background and
security risk.
