On the 4th, Iranian military spokesman Akraminia said the military has decided
to begin extending its missile range, citing lessons learned from engagements
with the United States and Israel. He said, "We concluded we must increase
missile range; we have already embarked on this path." Akraminia added that
adversaries have deployed forces and warships as far as 1,000 km from Iran's
coast, so Iran "will continue to upgrade missiles," and that it has made
significant progress in improving missile speed and accuracy.
