On Oct. 4 Tongcheng Travel reported that during the National Day holiday users booking air tickets to two or more destinations exceeded 20% of bookings and civil aviation travel demand rose 35% YoY. Nationwide hotels near major shopping districts and scenic spots hit a new occupancy peak; hotel bookings were up 32% versus last year’s National Day and the share of three-nights-plus stays increased noticeably.
