Shipping data provider Kpler said on Oct. 5 that despite attacks on vessels
transiting the Strait of Hormuz, Middle East crude exports in the final week of
September exceeded pre-Iran-conflict levels on four of seven days. Kpler’s
preliminary data showed exports rose to about 19.5–22.5 mln bpd on Sept. 24 and
Sept. 27–29, versus a 18.0 mln bpd daily average in the year before the Iran
conflict (Mar 2025–Feb 2026); volumes on ships with AIS turned off are excluded.
