The Hang Seng Tech Index, which was down over 0.8% early, outperformed and rose 0.27% to 4,169.36. Market turnover was HKD 54.6 bln. Semiconductors led sector gains, with PCB and optical‑communications subgroups strong; AI application plays outperformed. Property and airline stocks were under pressure; pharmaceuticals lagged.
