Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) CEO said the market currently faces roughly a 6 mln barrels/day shortfall in refined products supply.

Aramco CEO Amin Nasser said global oil stocks that buffer supply shocks are "worryingly low" and warned that if the Strait of Hormuz cannot fully reopen, the energy market faces further deterioration. He noted governments in major economies recently announced plans to release up to 100 mln barrels of emergency crude and diesel to ease fuel-price pressures. Nasser said refined-product price rises have outpaced crude and that Aramco has used international storage and rapid repairs to keep supplies resilient during the conflict. He added the company is seeking alternative export routes and expanding overseas storage to reduce reliance on a single transportation pathway.
